Color Corridor

Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City is a state-level high-tech city jointly built by the Chinese and Singapore governments.We were commissioned to using the exclusive color system to design a colorful corridor system and create a symbolic spatial image of the Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City.

We extracted the bright sunshine color tone from the bright sunlight environment of Guangzhou, summarized the deep, mysterious and technological blue color tone from the high-tech industrial characteristics of the Knowledge City, refined the elegant spring water green color tone from the beautiful ecological environment of the Knowledge City, and summarized warm autumn leaves color tone in folk activity colors and lively decorative colors in Singapore cities.

With these four color systems, we have established the recommended color spectrum of "The clear and bright sunshine tones, dotted with bluish purple and reddish gold colors" for the Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City, which not only reflected the young, modern and innovative temperament of the Knowledge City, but also continued the original overall tone of Guangzhou urban color, and absorbed the lively decorative color style of Singapore.

We apply this set of color spectrum to the landscape environment of Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City, especially in the design of pedestrian corridors, combining the form of corridors in different sections and the users, to carry out the color design of the corridors and ground pavement.
