SIMPLE ART

This case is located in the center of Wenzhou, close to the tallest building in Zhejiang -- the World Trade Tower. The excellent geographical location and excellent view also bring a relatively noisy space environment. For our husband and wife, "quiet" is the first problem we faced in the renovation of this home.

Understanding of tranquility: on the one hand, "tranquility" represents the absolute quietness of the space field; on the other hand, we hope to get the quietness of the soul.

For the former, through the selection of soundproof Windows, as well as the whole house system of soundproof treatment, to achieve a relatively quiet indoor environment. As for the latter, the quietness of the soul comes from the understanding of space and the relative balance with nature, which also leads to the second theme of this case -- "nature".

We open a large area of the space to welcome the sunlight in the form of French Windows. With the rising and setting of the day, the sunlight shines into the room from different angles. You can feel the transformation of the sunlight in various areas of the space, as if the light is wandering around the space, constantly showing the endless changes in the day.

Although people live indoors, they can feel the flow of light and shadow from the outdoors, feel the twilight of the morning, feel the wanton and warm sun at noon, and belong to the gentle dusk of the evening.

Light passes through different structures, materials, textures... Leaving different structures of light and shadow, the space itself is not modified, but through light and shadow, the rich structure is painted red, quietly showing the charm of the space itself -- the beauty of the structure.
