Changsha Shimao Hilton Hotel

Changsha Shimao Hilton Hotel is located in the core of Hunan financial center in Binjiang New City of Changsha, the 241 meters building has been a new landmark in the west of Xiangjiang River. The tower is comprised of a variety of functions, including a full standard Hilton hotel at the higher zone, 5A offices in the middle zone, as well as street-level shopfronts, restaurants and 3,000 square meters of conference space. Hilton hotel has 300 keys, it initiates the guest experience by placing reception on the 39th floor, where it links to the sky view. The hotel has been opened at the end of 2021. As the first full standard Hilton hotel in Changsha, the riverside Hotel fulfills an important need for community.

We think about how to make the space not only functional and comfortable but also profitable. We aim to create a powerfully designed hotel that amuses travelers and has the Characteristics of super high-rise buildings, too. Through the triangular tower shape, the building obtains more views along the river, and most rooms can overlook the excellent river view. Combined with the difference height of the site, the building forms two first floors, the ground floor is office lobby, and the first floor is hotel lobby, in this way, different streams of people can be separated naturally. In the podium, the public space at the bottom is open to the city through the courtyard and commercial space. All parking has been contained below ground level to maximize the green public space. Overlooking from the air, the unique Hilton building stands in the middle of the riverside area in Changsha, like a carefully carved diamond and enriches the skyline of the city.
