Curvilinear Artistry in American Style

This project is a renovation plan for a pre-owned residence. Through the designer's ingenuity and proper planning, the layout was reconfigured to create a spacious and comfortable living space with smooth flow and excellent mobility. Because the owner is a baking instructor, the designer has created a perfectly functional kitchen place to meet the owner's needs. Besides, the homeowner's favorite linear panels and arches were introduced into the space to create a neo-classical American-style residence. With APPLE’s HomeKit, the intelligent house system, the homeowner will enjoy a comfortable and pleasant living environment.



In the interior space, the two-entry foyer design is used to guide the entrance line of the home. Double-opening glass sliding doors and two-way storage cabinets are provided to keep privacy between distinct areas. On the other side, the gray and white stone tiles are planned on the entrance floor, and gold trim is embedded to deliver a light luxury style. Moreover, the designer has placed a soft sofa and chairs in the foyer, with warm yellow indirect lighting, expressing a quiet and friendly tone. The configuration has allowed the pregnant homeowner to feel relaxed and at ease when putting on and taking off her shoes. The storage room is designed with a rose gold concealed door, combining storage function and aesthetics. Towards the open public space, light white line panels are used on the walls, with a touch of titanium-plated metal to create an elegant and luxurious texture. The designer has placed Hermes orange pillows on the light L-shaped sofa, which quietly echoes the color configuration of the dining chairs and brings a lively sense of jumping colors to the low-color-saturated space.



Through the designer's careful planning, each living corner is appropriately laid out, and the choice of color configuration and material texture is unique. Finally, the designer has constructed a harmonious space with multiple layers, giving the residents a comfortable and enjoyable living feast.
