Modern Elegance

The spatial appearance of the commercial space represents the brand image, while the residential space reflects the personal image of the homeowner. This project is a residential planning case. Through close discussions between the designer and the clients, the homeowner’s taste and his family’s preferences were appropriately incorporated into the space, demonstrating the personal characteristics of the residents while creating the ideal home in the owner's mind.



Entering the shared living area, one will notice that the primary spatial focus is black and white gray, with a few metallic objects to add a luxurious texture. On the other hand, the dining area is decorated with aqua-blue velvet dining chairs. Furthermore, the space is enlivened with color-hopping objects and echoed with wall hangings of the same color, revealing an elegant and romantic atmosphere. In the guest bathroom, a nearly all-white color is planned as the main color scheme, with mirrored cabinet doors and geometric wall tiles to add a sense of hierarchy to the space.



An aqua-blue velvet sofa chair is placed in the bedroom, which is mainly colored in grayscale. It echoes the color of the dining chairs in the public area and adds color changes to the space. The chandelier hanging over the bed serves as a lighting device and an art installation, adding taste and style to the space. Moving to the other bedroom, since the homeowner's mother visits occasionally and the space is used as a resting place, the designer purposely uses her preference as the layout of the space. The primary color scheme is emerald green, with a metallic texture and small floral decorations to create a look that the mother loves.



Through the designer's careful planning and thorough evaluation, the project perfectly combines neo-classical aesthetics and modern minimalist style, showing a simple and streamlined look and conveying a flowing mood. The clever use of color-jumping objects, lively space tone, and the construction of a residential style containing layers of change, are unique and harmonious.
