Gift of the Sun

The project is a renovation of a pre-owned apartment. Although gray is used throughout the space, the design team takes different materials and color gradations to form a layered space. The theme is gray, with black iron parts to bring out the industrial style, and then with simple lines to present a modern sense. In the living room, the large area of cabinets is modified with a grille to reduce the sense of visual oppression and make the original rigid design more flexible. Meanwhile, the cabinets are not cut to the floor but are suspended to show lightness. Furthermore, due to the space limitation, only the cabinets next to the TV wall and the appliance cabinet are available for storage in the public area. Given this, drawers are planned under the guest bedroom couch to provide additional storage space and flexibility in the use of the room. As for the master bedroom, to provide a small corner for each client, the design team places desks in both the dressing room and the bedroom so that the couple can choose the space they like according to their habits.
