Seasun

Seasun is a leading video game publisher in China whose mission is to "create, deliver and share happiness through video games." As part of the office space of the company, this project, which features anime elements, vibrant colors and diverse ways of interaction, highlights the company’s role as a game developer and its corporate culture and spirit while providing a focused, efficient, comfortable and healthy office environment for employees.
Colors, as the most dynamic factor in space design, plays a prominent role in the project. Based on the functions and characteristics of the area, the designer uses a variety of colors to give more personality to the space and create a sense of freshness and vitality through the contrast of colors. For example, yellow, orange, green, blue and other bright colors are adopted in the informal meeting room to stimulate inspiration and promote thinking; the office area features gray and white as the main colors to render a calm, serious atmosphere, and a tinge of blue to add a sense of playfulness to the space.
In addition, as a design for a game studio, elements of gaming are essential. At the entrance, the specially customized PLAY desk and chair under the company logo wall resemble a start button in the launch interface, guiding players to enter and explore the game world; in the meeting room, the three-dimensional "PLAY GAME" hidden under the glass desktop echo the bullet screen on the ceiling, just like real-world gamers are interacting with an anime world; the guiding arrows embedded in the carpet of the public area and the black-and-white checkerboard-like lights on the ceiling evoke nostalgic feelings with their pixel style...... These game elements are either displayed directly to enhance the environment and relieve the pressure of employees, or hidden somewhere waiting to be discovered, giving people a surprise and bringing them the purest joy.
