Floating Leaf

Located in the southeast of the intersection of Zhongxing Road and Zhenguan Road, Xitang Town, Jiashan County, a two-story wooden structure exhibition and conference center will be built. The project facing to the south - natural water system of Shili Port, which connects Xitang to the west, and then connects the origin of the Yangtze River Delta - the Watertown Parlor to the east. Closely adhering to the development theme of "integration" and "high quality", the project positioning emphasizes to create an internationally advanced green building benchmark with Jiangnan features.



Site area of 32255.3 square meters, with in landscape design area of 27466.7 square meters. After completion, it concentrates on displaying the construction achievements of the demonstration zone and Jiashan Area, integrates and demonstrates the effectiveness of Jiashan's application scenarios in promoting integration through digitalization.



The building with the theme of "Floating Leaf" lies among the mountains and rivers. The landscape relies on the layout of the building, which is high in the north and low in the south. Combined with the two water treatment methods of the front entrance, the elevation difference of the entrance steps, the mirror water feature around the building and the stairs falling into the water, the ecological and humanistic experience of the transition from the city and then into the nature are formed.



Architectural and landscaping design language system echo each other, the space is clearly hierarchical, the lines are simple and full of tension, break through the soft environment of Jiangnan style, and create artistic conception with spaces. The front field facing to the city interface effectively sorted out the fire channel, parking and visiting lines. The square is interspersed with the planting area of green tree array, forming a large open space for citizen to visit.
