Longjiang· Midea Riverside Mansion

This project is located at Zuotan Village, Shunde City, the new urban area to be constructed by the government. Surrounded by mountains on three sides and facing the river, this real estate is a scare grand riverside resource in Guangzhou-Foshan Areas, where you can enjoy the 1500m wide river scenery and 6000m long riverside corridor to the south.

The project is planned to have 136 scare riverside villas and 17 riverside high-rise buildings of western styles. The overall layout has high-rise buildings laying in scattered spots combined with multi-story townhouses, with the taller buildings at the north and the lower ones at the south. It is a grand low-density housing estate rarely seen in Guangzhou-Foshan Area.

The layout in scattered spots is conducive for the formation of southeast monsoon, enabling better ventilation. As the buildings are arranged in a “Y” shape, all apartments and houses are facing southward to secure more sunlight. With such design, the whole housing estate enjoys the best ventilation and daylighting. Besides, we pay attention to the perfect combination of vision and comfortableness to ensure that all residents can enjoy the river sceneries, creating a premium low-density living quarter in the downtown area.

The facades highlight regional features. Specifically, we adopted and innovated the traditional Chinese style to combine modern elements with traditional ones in designing the facades. By referencing the traditional practices of local buildings, we added some traditional elements such as ancient bricks and window grilles on the facades.

We built a new Chinese-style garden with eleven sceneries in three courts and six yards in line with the inspiration of Arcadia and the idea of Shuyu Garden.
