SY Aircraft Exhibition Hall

To avoid the homogeneity, designer conducts an in-depth analysis of fighter jet streamline shape, flight trajectory, and material luster, extracting 3 sets of color system. The exhibition space creates the atmosphere of aircraft in the sky, and future will go beyond sky to the outer space.

The exhibition applies black, white and gray colors as dominate tones, abandoning traditional display forms, and adopting new media technology and art relief effects as matching colors. The matching colors are displayed vermilion red and aviation blue ambient lights created by new media technology. Only black, white and gray are left in the space after turning off the ambience lights, just like being in a pure void.

The overall space is in a square shape. Entering through the south gate and into an immaculately decorated hall, the words "Sharpen Sword" is illuminated on a blue photoelectric media screen, and an engaging video then plays to introduce the aircraft. The left side will be the main exhibition area, divided into four sections: history, business, security and achievements. The space top is interspersed by the streamline, and the first paragraph of each display area is curved to connect with the top streamline, coherent the principle of “trade-offs”. The history area is shaped like an inverted triangle to express the design concept of important fulcrum supporting plane. Both sides are display windows, art relief and LED screen in the center. Integrated static and dynamic and surrounded intense cultural atmosphere, the space is to explain the extreme hardship of the flight test as well as as the R&D process. The new flights are displayed in the business area, of which the irregular transparent area is electrified glass released the aircraft performance parameters through stereographic projection, ending up the whole space with science fiction colors. The last achievement area displays reproduced patents and awards, with the idea of connection dots, to create space grand and magnificent ambience.

In the aircraft electrified glass of the business area, the basic glass is low-reflective ultra clear glass, to reduce the 93% reflectivity under the Photoelectric effect.
