In the face of global problem of aging population, Taiwan is no exception. As the client was facing a new stage of life, the residence design should not just consider all the facilities needed for future senior life, ensuring their safe and practical usage, but also manifesting the unique freedom and vitality of this age group, in contrast to the stereotypical visual perception of senior home.
As the name of this project, Madam Platinum, suggested, this is a senior residential home tailor made just for the retired owner couple, as the elegance and serenity of it all epitomize the spatiality of the interior, as well as the personal traits of the clients reflecting the expectation of future life. The design team anchored the design on the creative concept of comfort with taste, safe home living, as it deciphered every need of the clients, and by choosing environmentally friendly materials and adopting modern aesthetics so as to conceal all preventive facilities in its effort in maintaining elegant and refreshing visuals, in the name of embracing a safe and lively life style, as this interior has indeed become a favorite gathering space for families of various generations
