The Pumpkin Science design team used "design" as a bridge to link to children mentally, and aimed to convey the theme of the book in an intuitive way, thus deepening the appeal to children and providing a subtle popularization of science based on their interest in reading.
The package fosters the literary ambience of a small library, while the content features a combination of illustrations and text that children love, and offers a reading journey for children in the ocean of scientific knowledge. The book looks like a quality art book with the three-in-one cover. It unfolds in a semi-closed, double-sided, symmetrical, diagonally cut package, making it easy to access content and ease reading.
Also, the order of flipping through the art book is consistent with the order in which the books are read, adding a sense of ritual to reading and making "flipping" an action throughout the reading process. Children can also scan the QR code for AR audio explanation, enhancing the sense of interactivity and reducing the difficulty of popularizing scientific knowledge. After reading, the outer package turns the best option for storing books, reducing the storage space and enhancing the storage stability through mutual support of books, as well as cultivating good storage habits from an early age.
