When designing a space to suit the client's tastes, the needs of their children, and room for five dogs, the designer employs dark hues to evoke a calming, composed atmosphere in accordance with the clients' perception of life. A linear language of layers is then used to build the scene, and light, shadows, lines, and metal materials add to the richness and uniqueness of the materials, resulting in a refined, delicate feel.
The vertical lines unify the space, and accentuate the lighting, utilizing light to make the area visually attractive in the pattern of radiance. Curved edges were utilized instead of harsh corners to reduce the initial dismal ambiance of the dark space and amplify the visual effect of the room, while lessening the chances of injury for young kids. The space has plentiful of natural illumination, yet the heavier materials diminish the intensity of the light, and through the differences in illumination and shadows and the natural textures, it adds an understated refinement to this modest and subdued area.
The dome design with light diffusion at the entrance creates a tranquil, calming atmosphere. The living room is adorned with stone and metalwork to bring out a deep visual representation of the area. The public area boasts textured marble flooring to bring out the sophisticated ambience of the dark space, while the private area is adorned with wooden herringbone flooring to inject a cozy atmosphere and achieve visual equilibrium. The master bedroom is decorated with a wall lamp resembling the planets, filling the space with creativity, and has a customized bed to cater to the requirements of the occupants in various stages.
