In the past few years, the epidemic has changed the global lifestyle, people spend more time at home, and because of the reduced contact with people, people's hearts are becoming more and more closed and depressed, so we hope to plan a space with large lighting and wide vision to provide a more comfortable living. We hope that even if you can't go out, you can still experience the visual and psychological openness. The public space is reserved for large areas, which can be made more flexible through furniture and lighting, while the sky, floor, and walls are presented by rustic and original texture. Entering the room, you first see the entrance area composed of irregular columns, and then the living room, creating a precipitation and transformation of the state of mind after entering the door. The streamlined design of the ceiling and walls allows the light to spread to each space, and the natural mineral paint with a large area of mottled texture is used to present a softer sense of stability. In the space, dark wood building materials are also partially used to guide the movement of the space, which also reflects the mature and calm personality of the owner. We keep the whole space open to reduce barriers and bring in the maximum amount of sunlight, but at the same time, the dining area on the west side faces the problem of sun exposure, and we hope to preserve the view and ventilation, instead of blocking it, we use rotating wooden leaves to draw in sunlight, and the light and shadow fall into the space with different angles to create a softer atmosphere. The overall space is dominated by low-chroma colors such as beige, gray, and black. The ceiling also retains the appearance of the original concrete, without complicated lines and decorations, we selection of finishes for the interior design focused heavily on tactile materials, carefully chosen for their organic nature, in the process developing a sense of tranquillity throughout the family home.
