The Tranquil Glow

This is an interior design project for a residential house. The space is mainly set in white, with a Moorland color scheme, creating a simple, warm, and comfortable home for the residents to enjoy their peaceful lives. Besides, wood is planned as the primary spatial focus. The leather and glass are added as accents to outline the delicate texture. The designer has introduced curved and lattice elements to create multiple spatial layers.

Entering the residence, one will realize the light-colored base configuration combined with the open public space creates a spacious and bright visual impression. Considering the needs of the residents, the designers set up iridescent glass folding doors between the living and dining rooms, using light-transmitting and opaque characteristics to maintain a sense of penetration and independence between the areas. At the same time, it can also function as a screen to block grease and smoke from the kitchen. On the other hand, the TV wall in the living room is covered with leather, stitching, and rounded shapes, which brings out the delicate texture and eliminates the cold and hard feeling of stone and paint. Towards the dining and kitchen space, the warm wood and brown tones are used as the main axis, brewing a warm and elegant dining time.

The staircase leads to a private living and resting space. The master bedroom is mainly set in with earthy colors and wood paving techniques, delivering distinct texture patterns and a sense of harmony with layers. In addition, the designer has used rounded corners to make the flow of movement smoother. The secondary bedroom is mainly painted in soft Morandi colors, and the use of wood is continued to give the residents a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The wall panels are also installed to meet the residents' storage needs and to maintain the overall sense of simplicity. Moving slowly to the study, one will notice the warm color scheme and the wood configuration continued to create a calm and quiet reading environment.
