Snowstorms frequently cause power lines to freeze over and disrupt power transmission, leaving numerous cities without electricity. But in the freezing high altitude, deicing work is done manually, which is risky and ineffective. In order to address the issue of manual deicing after freezing in the low temperature environment of overhead wires and cables, we developed this cutting-edge ultrasonic cable deicing robot. It is outfitted with a synthetic carbon steel ultrasonic head and is suitable for automatic deicing operations on overhead wires and cables after natural disasters in extremely cold regions. The deicing effect is evident, high safety, and strong stability. It not only addresses the issue of manual deicing following freezing in the low-temperature environment of overhead wires and cables, but it also ensures the stability of power transmission in harsh environments, offering a dependable assurance for the city’s stable power consumption in winter and the safety of deicing personnel.
