As part of the celebration of more than four decades of service in the Taiwanese market, international corporate and finance banking institution Crédit Agricole CIB Taiwan partnered with SL+A to create a human-centric workplace that promotes mental health, wellness, and well-being. Our team was thrilled to be part of the targeted momentum of Crédit Agricole CIB to align their business efforts within the technology and renewable sectors to better serve the needs of clients and society at large. We designed a “Zen” inspired style workplace that focuses on comfort and relaxation, yet resolutely adheres to the vision of a future dedicated to sustainable finance.

Located in the ultra-modern Nanshan Breeze building constructed in accordance with Gold standard LEED-certifications, CA CIB's new office is currently applying for the same certification since the interior office design adheres to all benchmarks outlined through LEED and IDP/IDOP. Historically referred to as the “Green Bank” tied to agricultural farming, this new biophilic office embraces the foundational aspects of Crédit Agricole Group while breathing life into workspaces - juxtaposing the brand identity with natural aesthetics. Brightly lit, with simple wood-finish and trim throughout the office, we were moved to include a focal wall element replicating Taiwanese mountain ridges in the main meeting room. In addition to the open-plan workspace dotted with fresh foliage and planters of shrubs and trees, SL+A built a cohesive and calm palette of welcoming tones.

By using different zones to differentiate private workspaces, employees can relax, motivate, and interact with their teams through teleworking. Multi-functionality is a keyword that resonates throughout the office, where we set out to combine the reception desk, coffee bars, guest waiting area and boardroom into an all-in-one town hall type setting. This is an existing innovation that is embedded into our new office design strategy to inspire work that lives up to the human-centric ‘raison d'être’ of Crédit Agricole CIB.
