LONG YUE YA SONG

Located in Nanjing of Jiangsu Province, LONG YUE YA SONG covers an area of 2,300 square meters. To show respect for the classic Song-style gardens, the designer reinterpreted the rules and details of the royal gardens in Song dynasty, creating an immersive oriental garden using modern landscape techniques. The garden follows the space structure of Chinese traditional gardens, providing the experiences of “entering the garden, touring the garden and living in the garden”. Inspired by the famous painting “Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival”, the garden of LONG YUE YA SONG reinterprets the unique lifestyle of Song dynasty based on modern community functions. Meanwhile, through multidisciplinary team effort, the design combined spirit with art and maximized the value of space, creating a model of modern oriental garden.

As an exploration of the integration of Song culture and modern lifestyle, the garden of LONG YUE YA SONG successfully presents a series of immersive scenes, reminds people of oriental spirit, and creates a peaceful and beautiful environment for ideal life.
