The Huanggang Port Tower New Development Project

The Huanggang port tower new development project takes “efficiency, compatibility, and green” as the design target, and is committed to creating a “people-oriented, spatially complex” new urban port. The top of the tower creates an iconic tower image through a rich split-level design, and integrates the landscape platform into it to create a public, open and natural office environment. The overall image of the tower echoes the image of the mangroves around the site to create a unique and iconic office tower in the port area.
The design starts from the plane and takes Shenzhen’s city tree—mangrove as inspiration, extracts the image of the trunk, and outlines the plan with simple geometric shapes. Design adopts a symmetrical geometric shape and is composed of four identical circles. The plane is regular, the utilization rate is high, and the structure is efficient. The curved curtain wall can maximize the view of the landscape.
The tower will be a signature development for the Shenzhen Huanggang port and an iconic landmark in the developing Huanggang area, which is one of the most important city nodes in Shenzhen.
