Memory; Texture

The name of the project is "Memory; Texture", which is from the relationship between the space and the hostess. Although she lives overseas and Taiwan will be her new home, she still misses Hong Kong in her heart. The hostess’s feelings and longing for her hometown can be seen in the interior. The project's textural variations and transitions present the Hong Kong style, such as the downtown area, the bright signs, and the green hawker stalls in the alley. The design team extracted elements that are more in tune with the interior design to reveal a textured residence. Considering the client's love of travel, a large world map is installed in the hallway, where the client can leave traces of his or her travels. In addition, the design team re-planned the layout to achieve both functionality and aesthetics, creating a comfortable home for the client's family.
