TNT Residence

Challenged to maintain indoor/outdoor connectivity, the design was shaped by three major concepts: the ‘Lens’ to focus views; the ‘Garden’ connecting indoors and outdoors; and a protective 'Veil’ controlling the elements. The residence features an eclectic interior with a modest exterior inspired by traditional desert courtyard configurations. Gardens maintain privacy and provide natural cooling for adjacent rooms. A series of staggered walls, composed of concrete blocks, form a protective Veil enclosing each Garden, shielding sightlines while allowing the interior to extend outwards.
