2023 Jiji Lantern Festival

The famous Jiji Lantern Festival in Nantou County has entered its 25th year. Instead of the fixed-point exhibition in the past, this year's 2023 Jiji Lantern Festival advocated "conservation" and built the public's concept of cherishing water resources. Creativity and ingenuity promoted business opportunities in the tourism industry of Jiji Town. Departing from Jiji Railway Station, four major lantern areas were set up around it, and environment lighting was set up along the way with the Year of the Rabbit theme. They were creating a tourist attraction where human history and modern technology coexist, showing the diverse characteristics of the exclusive Jiji Town.
Jiji Lantern Festival set up four major lantern areas hoping the public will appreciate Jiji's history, humanities, and arts with more independent, open, and flexible thinking. Allowing the public to experience the local customs of Jiji Town at close range, the lighting area plays New Year's music to make it full of joy.
The lighting area was LED energy-saving and environmentally friendly lighting materials. Considering waterproofing and environmental ethics, it simultaneously realized "conservation" and "fun" and promoted the sustainable development of Jiji towns.
