A childhood experience - a child soaring towards the sky on a swing. When your feet leave the ground, the world seems to shrink beneath you.
This newly erected residential building has four floors. The initially enclosed floor layout was transformed into a childhood memory by the homeowner's personality, creating a living space for this young DINK couple (Double income, no kids) and their two cats.
"We first consider the client's lifestyle, what they need, and how to inject their personality into the space," said Aaron, the designer.
Most space planning typically revolves around functional use. However, in the communication process for this project, they explored more about "Who are they and their personality?" The homeowner, who has been an avid reader of literature, seems introverted on the surface but is actually someone who seeks a sense of speed and is passionate about collecting "knightly objects."
"We always start with context-driven design, allowing people to feel like they are entering the homeowner's personality levels as soon as they enter the interior," Aaron said.
