The Awamori of the Okinawa region in Japan is a highly fermented rice wine made using the unique black koji rice of Okinawa and traditional brewing methods. In ancient times, rice was a precious commodity as it was the main source of food, so only the Ryukyu royal family of Okinawa had the privilege of using rice to make alcohol. The name Syoumori is derived from the surname of the Ryukyu royal family and represents grand celebrations.

The design concept is based on the concept of time, with the inside of the bottle shaped like an hourglass, reflecting the value of the product being made purely from the original mash, which distinguishes it from other rice wines that are made by blending with the original mash. Only aged Awamori is the most mellow.

We convert time from years to hours and associate the hourglass concept with hours, symbolizing the relationship between the maturity and richness of the wine. The label on the bottle is like a time scale, with one end representing "then" and the other end representing "now," reflecting the brand and product's concept throughout history.
