LA QUINTA BY WYNDHAM, Weifang

The design is inspired by kite, a unique label of Weifang City, and the concept of "wind beneath wings" is adopted in order to give the building a light and dynamic character. The hotel has a simple and elegant shape, the arc at the entrance refers to the shape of a ship's forepart, so the building as a whole looks like a ship setting sail. The main body of glass curtain wall and the horizontal lines of silver aluminum plate are used to create a simple and elegant style. At the same time, the subtle twists of the horizontal lines between the floors create a dynamic texture that brings subtle light and shadow changes in the sunlight.



The main entrance of the hotel faces the main city road on the west side, inside, a loop line is formed around the building, and the guest flow line, the logistics flow line and the fire engine flow line do not interfere with each other, providing smooth and convenient experience. The design of the entrance plaza symbolizes the front view of the hotel, bringing an urban landscape experience. The podium area provides services for the hotel, as well as commercial, leisure and cultural services for the surrounding office space. After entering the lobby from the west entrance, guests can easily walk to the partitions of public areas along the horizontal flow line, or enter the guest rooms through the independent vertical flow line without interfering with each other.



On the east side along the river, a riverside landscape greening space is arranged to introduce the river view into the interior to the greatest extent. A variety of courtyard spaces are designed in the site, together with trees, they create green spaces through different forms, which become places for citizens to rest and children to play, so that the project landscape is integrated into the urban green system and becomes an integral part of the urban landscape.
