Ink Helmed Odyssey

The silver moon hung high in the sky whilst white-crested waves crashed about as if steering a ship alone in the vast sea. The sound of the tide rushed into the cabin, brilliantly mingling with the moonlight, brightening up the world map on the wall with a warm yellow glow... gazing upon the boundless night sky, the homeowner will realize that this was where he belonged, where his life had led him.

Like a ship returning to the harbor, we sought to provide a peaceful and rejuvenating haven for our client, an experienced captain. We deftly reconfigured the layout, opened up the space, and imbued the black and gray interior design with the calm and polished personality of the owner. With green building materials and low formaldehyde sheets, we conjured a living scene of the night sea and ships. Not only engraving one’s life achievements within the residence but also a commitment to sustainability, as a courtesy to the ocean for abundance given to the captain.



We artfully reconfigured the original layout of a two-bedroom and one-study apartment, removing the small room partitions and the kitchen facade adjacent to the entryway. And the entry to the kitchen was relocated towards the living room, creating a semi-open and spacious public area. With the addition of wooden blinds and plain-painted ceilings, the design reflects the homeowner's straight and delicate personality.



We installed a fused island dining table in the living room, the wide worktop suitable for kneading dough, which meets the owner’s food preparation request. It equipped both 110 and 220-volt outlets for various electronic gadgets. Additionally, the entire house runs on a smart home system to accommodate the owner's seafaring lifestyle, allowing remote control of electronic gadgets. Furthermore, ingeniously arrange all the cabinets beneath the beam behind the sofa, maximizing storage and increasing blank space for an enjoyable ambiance.
