“The Heart of Tribe” is at the entrance of the Tjana'asiya Tribe, a Paiwan tribe in Pingtung, Taiwan. The project has a welcoming and educational meaning, and it is inspired by "nature" and "life", incorporating the indigenous people's reverence and veneration for Mother Earth. It is also a symbol of vibrant nature with its many seeds falling like stars. The four-meter-tall silver-white work stands on the plain and stretches toward the sky, expressing the optimistic attitude of the indigenous. As the twilight and moonlight gently embrace the work, the hues from nature render the steel structure to shape a beautiful and magical moment, revealing a strong connection to the earth.

The work is made of steel and wood, which conveys the aesthetics of both rigid and soft. The designer took symbols to imply reproductive imagery. People can nestle in the oval recess in the middle of the work as if returning to the realm where everything was first conceived and feeling the warmth of motherhood, nature, and warmth.
