The fundamental concept of design is all about the philosophy of feng shui which is a traditional science in China to keep a balance between people and their environment and then they would get health, wealth and luck. In order to make the space multi-functional and follow the rules of feng shui that bright light flowing freely through windows to the whole house makes people full of the energy (qi), and the kitchen should be out of view after entering the front door, our team came up with an idea that every part of this apartment could be seen as a part of a huge stereoscopic puzzle and the layout should be changed completely. In this fascinating design, people would never feel increasingly frustrated with how to keep everything in the right place because we calculate cabinet numbers precisely and we decrease the room numbers to make the new layout philosophical. Everything in this house in which includes the furniture, the wall color, decorations, and endurable wooden floors fit best into the concept of design. Our design is also multi-functional, for example, the playroom serves the primary purpose of children’s wonderland, and it would offer a possibility of retrofitting the sliding door to become another kid’s bedroom.
