The Wujiazhai Gongcha Cultural Tourism Area in Xuan'en County has a total area of 8.5 square kilometers and is primarily focused on Gongcha culture tourism, Tujia-style leisure tourism, and health and summer vacation tourism. It has been rated as a National AAAA Tourist Attraction and is a model of the integration of tea and tourism.



The area consists of six major tourist areas and ten major scenic spots, including Changchen Lake, Sanpao Spring, Tea God Platform, Qiankun Pot, Shengui Mountain, Lion Mountain, Hutu Spring, Rare Tree Examination, and Yingtian Fragrance. The public service facilities are fully equipped, and there is a specialized service team, making it an open rural ecological cultural tourism scenic area with ""mountains as the body, tea as the soul, folk customs as the characteristics, and Gongcha culture as the foundation.""



The architectural design of the tourism area incorporates traditional Tujia architectural elements and the geographical environment of the tea garden, creating an excellent place for tea tasting and sightseeing. The buildings in the area also incorporate advanced fire prevention technology, including fireproof and waterproof coatings, multiple package board components, and the use of rock wool with good thermal insulation and non-combustible properties. The walls also use a protective structure that utilizes different materials and spring rebound on each layer to achieve a cushioning effect, which protects the walls from damage and ensures building safety and reliability. The area also uses a patented energy-saving, soundproof, and lightweight wall structure that improves stability, increases the lifespan, and enhances sound insulation effectiveness by using a U-shaped steel structure with a water channel and triangular water outlets for firefighting."
