The Web of Light

The purpose of interior design is to create a living environment that meets the material and spiritual needs of the people. This is an interior design project of a three-story house; the family members include a couple and two adult children. After an in-depth discussion between the designer and the owner, the designer has decided to use the eldest son's preference for modern style and geometric lines to plan the space. Through the designer's control of the proportion of lines between reality and reality, a very modern aesthetic space was outlined to meet the owner's expectations.

Upon entering the house, a partition screen was created using woodwork and clay, combined with iridescent glass to present a light-transparent effect. The designer also took the opportunity to change the position of the light switch to provide convenience for the homeowners. Among them, the linear iron display shelf is set up in the iridescent glass in the partition screen, which, together with the owner's ornaments, becomes the eye-catching end view after entering the house, highlighting the owner's taste. The open design of the common area integrates the living room, dining room, and kitchen, providing a spacious area for the owner's activities. To meet the homeowner's storage needs, the designer has installed a high waist cabinet and a metal wine storage cabinet on the back wall of the sofa to meet the 6-meter wide living room area. Turning to the TV wall, the design of interlocking line lighting is used to add visual layers. The ceiling continues the linear elements, using simple black lines to enclose the space, quietly echoing the space. Leading to the dining and kitchen space, the designer uses a concealed door to hide the toilet, making the space visually clean and clear.
