This project is located in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, in a densely populated residential area and a bustling location within the district.

Designed for a busy working couple, the aim was to create a tranquil environment for them to relax in after their hectic work schedules.

The entrance area, previously narrow and dim, has been transformed into a bright and spacious space by employing a minimalist approach and gentle lighting design, evoking the feeling of sunlight streaming in through the ceiling.

To enhance the sense of openness and interaction, the kitchen and dining area have been integrated by removing the dividing wall. This fusion of Eastern and Western kitchen styles not only increases visual spaciousness but also promotes social engagement among family and friends.

The master bedroom has been reconfigured by connecting the original guest room, resulting in an expansive walk-in wardrobe and dressing area, serving as part of the master suite. The non-load-bearing wall of the former guest room has been replaced with a double-sided cabinet, providing both display and storage space.

Storage spaces throughout the house have been concealed, giving the overall space a clean and uncluttered appearance. Thoughtful storage design allows the owners to neatly organize their belongings and maintain an orderly living environment.

The overall design concept revolves around the use of white color, black lines, white oak, and curved elements, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. White brings a sense of purity and freshness to the space, while black lines add transparency and visual depth. The texture of white oak exudes warmth and a natural ambiance, while curved elements introduce a gentle and fluid sensation. By incorporating these design elements, the project successfully provides the homeowners with a pleasant and comfortable living environment.
