Boutique Peninsula  Mansion

The project is a duplex penthouse on an island. In our opinion, the interior decoration design is counted as an enjoyable collaboration process. On account of the suggestions from the couple owners, the design team made many changes and bold trials within the framework of modern decoration. Upon stepping into the house, clean and simple lines make up the main theme of the public space, a pathway leading to an activity space on a greater scale and higher functional efficiency. Unlike other cases of modern decoration, this design is based upon classic black and white colors and complemented with beige or wood color as a buffer to diminish the contrasting intensity, a softer way of expressing modern style that offsets the perceived coldness from some industrial products. In contrast, this particular form of expression underlines the family atmosphere instead of a pure form of impact, and such unique idea can be found in every aspect of the layout. Notably all the ornamental wall paintings were created by the female owner, every roll of painting is a stunning artwork. These paintings together with the contrasting furniture and well-crafted light fixtures break the established rules and confer a unique vitality. This design is expected to be a typical case of the client-involved interior decoration designs in respect of residential house category.
