Gloaming Inspiration

As opening the door, a neutral-colored scenery of purity and elegance jumps into the eye. The wood texture and greenery approaches spread in different areas refreshing the tiring and hectic minds. Integrating the natural light from the window, we composed a calming living space featuring pure nature.
To meet the homeowners' work requirements as self-media operators, we transformed partitioning and moved the study to the space beside the window as a pleasant home office. Equipped with hanging tracks on the walls and open shelving, the homeowners could flexibly arrange tasteful collections and decorations according to their preferences. Furthermore, an open plan ushered the natural light into the kitchen linked to the public space. Besides, the open layout enhanced the family sharing and interactions while the home lady was cooking. Remarkably, the entire project achieved a non-toxic home applied with F1 grade certified by low formaldehyde standard building materials integrated with stucco coatings that could absorb odors and regulate moisture.

We invited a neutral color palette to the entire walls and the ceiling. Featuring rustic timber elements, clear earthy hues distributed a harmonious Wabi-Sabi style setting off the indoor plants well-cared by the homeowner. Moreover, we created a floating feel by installing indirect lighting along the cornice moldings and under the cabinets. A relaxing ambiance and shade layering compose a minimalist space with mesmerizing details.

We planned wall-mounted open shelving and cabinets in the study area to accommodate the family members' requirements for storage. The open shelving favorably displays artistic decorations and family photos, and the cabinets contain electronic devices and photography equipment. Moreover, we set up wooden bypass sliding door s with glass inserts to keep the residents' privacy. In addition, we smartly make good use of awkward spaces to arrange hidden storage cabinets by the window seat and behind the headboard that creates aesthetics and functionality.
