As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread globally, society has adapted to living with the virus and returning to normalcy. During this time, people have changed their living and working patterns and habits. With a greater emphasis on health and safety, individuals have become more aware of the importance of epidemic prevention. As a result, this space design incorporates the concept of post-epidemic housing with natural elements. By bringing nature indoors and prioritizing user comfort, the space is designed with a "people-oriented" principle to create a healthy and welcoming home environment that caters to diverse home needs.
The residence is carefully planned and reorganized to maintain a transparent ambiance. The inspiration behind the design lies in natural elements, which results in a comfortable living experience for residents. Upon entering the space, one is greeted by a serene atmosphere complemented by elements of various materials. Wooden frames are used to create a boundary between the public and dust areas, creating a binary movement. The public areaa way that natural light and greenery are introduced through the floor-to-ceiling windows, giving residents the feeling of being in the lap of nature. The designers have also integrated the living room, dining room, multi-functional room, a is designed in nd kitchen to create an open and spacious layout. With warm sunlight and natural greenery, the space exudes a cozy and cheerful vibe. The design also ensures that the space is well-lit during the day, reducing the need for artificial lights, and thereby promoting energy-saving and carbon-reducing effects.
The layout of the residence has been cleverly utilized by the designer to create a clear separation between shared and private living spaces. The primary space features a showcase between the TV wall and the dining room, which highlights the family's cherished memories and life moments. A multi-functional room on the same floor serves as a flexible space for daily activities, as well as a room for senior family members when they visit. In the private area of the duplex, the master bedroom has been redesigned to include a study and a checkroom.
