New office for GP Industries

The project is a collaboration with GP to create an office that embrace creativity and collaboration at community level. From their current office where departments are separated, the new design should integrate the company as 1. The operation process comes into play as well for the design planning.

The design brief is very short by the Client with only operation requirements and the designer get to have a free play in the entire design. The idea of integrating is showcase by a large centralise communal area where collaboration can take place frequently. Meeting rooms are also at the minimum to encourage open discussion with private meeting can be in meeting booth.

The designers also assist to create a non-traditional office arriving experience with large bold font and a lower ceiling prior to entry to an open ceiling space. The open ceiling separate spaces between the community area and work area providing differentiated vibes within the workplace.

Multiple art pieces area placed around the office from the Client’s personal collection to break away from the feel of a traditional office. The Client being an Art Director himself plays a part of the design direction and creation of the final product which is modern, functional and vibrant.
