This residence space design case elicits the topic "less is more" with the Hong Kong style of design. It melts the cool gray and white colors into space to create a modern fashion of simplicity. By adapting to the local environment, the designer applies marbles in the indoor space to keep it transparent and cool, creating a comfortable life experience. In the space layout, the underground floor and the first floor accommodate to the public sphere of living room, dining room and tea room, and the second and third floors host the bedrooms, leisure area and roof garden, showcasing both design aesthetics and space functions.

High-grade gray dominates the overall tone of the house, which, coupled with marble grains, manifests the owner’s mature and stable disposition. The living room brings in natural light through a large French window. The house feels warm and fragrant with wooden and leather furniture, decorated with elaborately chosen flowers and green plants. When the sunshine floods the room through the reserved inlet, the family may enjoy a relaxing moment with a cup of coffee in hand.

The main bedroom extends the overall style. The hexagon room is furnished with simple artistic devices to set off the owner’s calm qualities. Various kinds of weak light source design add up to the low-key luxury. With the same specification of the boy's room and girl's room, they are designed differently in user-friendly layout of soft fittings. A funny locker cabinet is arranged in each room creating child's exclusive space. A corner of the space is earmarked for leisure, ideal for reading books, newspapers and magazines to step into the knowledge world.

The designer re-plans the functional human flow lines of the house, and boldly shifts the staircase to a new place. In addition to putting up new decorative space, it facilitates great changes in all the human flow lines and space, which is identified as a unique feature of this case. Each member of the family has their own private space, as well as a place to get together, adding to the fun and delight of life.
