Harbor, sea water, and ships are typical elements contributing to the picturesque scenes of the Mediterranean in South France, and thus they inspire the design of Cocottine by FLO. You can find open spatial structure, flowers, and green plants everywhere, with an added touch of delicate ornaments……all of these attract customers into the charming South France. In the bay area, landmarks with high arching gateways are often visible. It could be said that the most classical element in Mediterranean architecture is a semicircle. In line with the classical Mediterranean style, semicircles are extended from the rim of enamel casting iron pan with simple lines and smooth joints. Colors with high saturation give an intense texture like wine. The oil paint, metal and lighting features all adopt materials with bright and high gloss, making the space delicate and limpid. The blue-green high-gloss paint on the wall has a sense of moisture as if it brings in the mild ocean breeze from the Mediterranean. Champaign gold lines are inlaid regularly on the wall, which stand for the sea waves. The gray terrazzo flooring and the emulated gray stone table are of earthy colors, creating a homey and relaxing atmosphere. The colors of honey, tangerine, and champagne are blended in the design, which look like the flowers, plants, and rooftops by the beach of south France. The Mediterranean abounds in sunshine, so the outdoors area is considered as an important part of life space. When designing the project, we decorated the outdoor dining area into a pretty courtyard. The semi-open area is casual and relaxing. By using wallpapers with flowers and leaves patterns, table cloths with gray and white collage Mediterranean pattern, as well as cane chairs and blue cushions, we gave the design a holiday style with a richly-layered implications and components. The ceremonious dining ambient accompanied by a unique scenario of flowers in bloom also makes the outdoors dining area the first choice for customers.
