Vanke Beijing Tongzhou Metropolis Riverside

Beijing Metropolis Riverside is located in Tongzhou District, the sub-center of Beijing, at the confluence of the five rivers. It is the metropolitan living apartment consisted of two buildings approximately 150m high. The community garden consists of two parts, the floor landscape and the aerial garden. The floor landscape adopts an Eastern style garden, creating the luxurious hotel experience with Eastern charm through scenes such as hotel style entrance, earth springs, and sparkling courtyards. The aerial garden is the highlight of this project, providing "the most beautiful 360-degree view" for the "twin tower building" at the intersection of five rivers. In addition, it is also the highest accessible hanging garden landscape in Beijing. The roof gardens of the two apartment buildings are separately presented in two styles of oriental Zen and modern fashion, respectively named as "Hill Tea House" and "Sunset Bar". They provide various functional areas for owners with different needs, such as the reception, community activity and gathering.
In the project design, the integration of architecture, interior design and landscape is pursued. Based on the common design concept of natural infiltration, many spaces integrating the natural scenery and artificial structures. The super large overhanging luminous ceiling is designed. The landscape is interspersed through the pines, stones and islands, forming a ceremonial entrance space. By applying simple lines and colors, the natural scenery gradually transits from outdoor to indoor space through the window scenery, light and shade, green plants and other forms.
