Gallery Suites is a historic building located on Hengshan Road in Shanghai. Built in 1933, this classic structure designed by Gonghe Foreign Firm once served as the residence of a Russian princess. The building's Art Deco-style architecture features a striking contrast between its dark red brick facade and light yellow paint, while the staircase showcases a unique blend of two eras with its black front and milky white back. Preserving the original window grille design, soft sunlight filters through the classical windows, lending a touch of warmth to the austere staircase.
The focus shifts to the interior space design for the apartment hotel, which aims to blend modern fashion with practical functionality, creating an integrated, open, and international lifestyle. The design seamlessly combines elements of the old and new, classic and fashionable, and local and international styles.
