Gallery Suites

Gallery Suites is a historic building located on Hengshan Road in Shanghai. Built in 1933, this classic structure designed by Gonghe Foreign Firm once served as the residence of a Russian princess. The building's Art Deco-style architecture features a striking contrast between its dark red brick facade and light yellow paint, while the staircase showcases a unique blend of two eras with its black front and milky white back. Preserving the original window grille design, soft sunlight filters through the classical windows, lending a touch of warmth to the austere staircase.

The focus shifts to the interior space design for the apartment hotel, which aims to blend modern fashion with practical functionality, creating an integrated, open, and international lifestyle. The design seamlessly combines elements of the old and new, classic and fashionable, and local and international styles.

The interior space boasts distinct angles and soft curves, which interact poetically with light and shadow, voids and solids. The bedroom design primarily aims to incorporate a warm and healing living ritual. With a soft white primary color and accents of mint green, the layout exudes elegance. The harmonious relationship between art and spatial design creates a comfortable atmosphere in the resting space.

Luxury is a consistent theme throughout the design, with gold accents and ink elements contributing to a unique sense of sophistication. Mirrored perspectives create an illusion of spaciousness and grandeur, while rounded corners and spherical wall lamps foster a gentle and tranquil ambiance. The kitchen corner exhibits a remarkable sense of depth, complemented by suspended spherical chandeliers that epitomize luxury. Delicate details blend modern and tranquil aesthetics, emphasizing a bright and serene atmosphere. Guests can enjoy intimate conversations over drinks, savoring the bittersweet taste of life and engaging in discussions about art, dreams, and self, all contributing to the poetic ambiance.

Gallery Suites flawlessly integrates various design elements, prioritizing comfort and functionality, and carefully considering the needs and desires of its inhabitants. It serves as an ideal urban retreat, offering a luxurious living experience while inspiring guests to explore and appreciate the city's beauty, history, art, and culture.
