The "2023 Hakka Expo" will be held in Taoyuan, Taiwan, with the theme "Travel to Tomorrow". It aims to connect the diverse Hakka culture globally, starting from Taiwan, and create a platform for Hakka communities worldwide to exchange ideas.

The Department of Youth Affairs of Taoyuan City Government will build a performance platform in Conch Plaza in the secondary exhibition areas. It extends the original visual concept by incorporating five colors symbolizing Hakka and Taoyuan, along with elements of "Oceanic Hakka Culture." It is named "Tide Hakka" to showcase the precious culture on the international stage.

The character "Tide" represents both ocean tides and the contemporary nature of Hakka music, riding the wave of youth and presenting a new era.

The semi-circular shape of the character "Hakka" represents the sunset, where visitors can enjoy Hakka music at the Conch Plaza while watching the sunset. By adding symbols representing music, the visual design adds dynamism.

This visual design continues the core concept of the Hakka Expo while infusing it with the vitality and energy of the new generation, aiming to showcase the new wave of Hakka culture.
