"The Manifestation of Life"

"The Manifestation of Life" is an art sculpture specially designed for the Foshan Transportation Investment Group. This company has been committed to the construction of expressways, local roads, and the development of road resources, which inspired the designer. The sculpture showcases the curves of expressways and the dynamic motion of life, presenting a surreal geometric metallic fluid form. By abstracting the form of expressways and the blurred dynamics of high-speed motion, the designer conveys the concept of "the conservation of the dynamic relationship between the movement and stillness of the universe and the manifestation of all things." The side view of the artwork presents the shape of the Chinese calligraphy character "一", which symbolizes the foundation of all things in traditional Chinese culture. This minimalist unified form constitutes a narrative and contemplation of life, while the hollow circle at the top forms a perfect cycle of "the unity of all things and the continuous cycle of life," showcasing the spirit of "unity" in the corporate culture.

Besides, in order to harmonize with the spatial tone, the designer chose locally common and recyclable copper materials to reduce transportation costs and lower the carbon footprint. The plants used are Cycas revoluta, which have high aesthetic value in the East and symbolize auspiciousness and longevity, also conveying good wishes for the company's development.

The encounter between emerald cypress and purple copper embodies the balance between rhythm and meditation, speed and rationality. The dynamic sense of leaping signifies the momentum of Foshan's transportation construction, transcending mountains and integrating with all things. Within tranquility, there is movement, and it evokes poetic imagery that nourishes life like water droplets, where all things come to life and provide boundless space for contemplation.
