After redesigning the layout, it can best support the habits and interactions of the house owner. The space is filled with a nostalgic and vintage atmosphere. The view of the old town from the window, the warm light from the dining room, and the vintage Spanish tiles make the space unique. Inspired by Montage, different materials are used to shape various areas. Separate areas are connected to create a continuous and harmonious view. On the way to the living room from the entryway, a variety of elements, lines, and color schemes create a harmonious look wherever you lay your eyes on.
Upon entering the space, an abundance of light streams through the shutter. The reeded glass reflects light and creates an appealing view. Vintage rattan cabinet and tiles on the floor reveal a rustic home. The glass partition is carefully placed with irregular beveled surfaces to play with the visuals. With titanium-plated metal trims on the edges, different flooring materials create a low profile yet luxurious ambience.
The wood flooring leads the way to the public area. The main TV wall features engraved tiles and clean white grating, while the grayish-green backdrop connects the living room and dining area. The lower TV cabinet continues the color palette of the main wall. Its rounded corners add a soft touch to the clean frame. To exude a sense of tranquility, the varying shades and the smooth curves create rich layers. The sofa and the wall behind the sofa are in lighter grayish-green, echoing the overall tone and creating an immersive spatial experience.
The dining sideboard is integrated with the open kitchen counter. Under the diffused yellow glow, the emerald green hexagonal tiles in the middle section form an elegant vista view, adding warmth to the dining space. To maintain a light and airy look, the original door in the kitchen has been replaced with reeded glass that allows light to enter without casting shadows. On the facade, a display shelf is embedded in the wall. As a focal point, a gap on the left side embraces the beauty of imperfection.
