North Courtyard Villa in Grasse Town, Beijing

The project draws inspiration from the impression of Beijing which includes the red wall of the Forbidden City, cherry blossom in Yutan, greenness, the mirrored ice lake and Ginkgo in autumn. The colors of those elements are extracted and reorganized to form the main palette of the home. Based on the local genes, the design translates those Beijing elements into furniture, artworks and patterns through varied forms and approaches.

A luxury modern home for a family of five people, the male and female owners are the executive of a trading enterprise and a college teacher respectively. Their ten-year-old daughter has a passion for flowers and painting, and retired parents enjoy harmonious life at home. The home is equipped with a whole-house intelligence system. Throughout the entrance hall, living room, dining room and bedroom, ASR smart displays are installed to provide convenience and comfort to the family.
