The gita Robot is a first-of-its-kind following robot that was designed with simplicity and ease of use in mind. The gita packaging system matches gita’s design language and provides a distinctive unboxing experience for its owner. The box top lifts off as if it was a present being unwrapped to reveal gita on a custom base that serves as both a secure platform during transportation and as a launch-pad upon unboxing. Instructions printed along this base guide customers through the individual unboxing steps.

Although gita is not an autonomous robot and always follows a human, unboxing is the one and only time when the robot moves on its own after being turned on: it magically comes alive and drives off its base.

A custom fitted accessories tray sits inside the cargo bin of gita to hold the charger block, charging cable and lens cleaning kit in addition to a set of manuals and documents. The tray is specifically designed at an angle to compensate for gita’s tilt when it is parked.
