Brilliant Palace, Kunshan

The project is located on the Tongfeng East Road, downtown of Kunshan, Suzhou, China. It is a tribute to art and classical gardens, to show the garden-like luxury residences in the context of the modern trend of oriental aesthetics.

It conveys the romance of the Kun Opera culture, and create the first landscaped residence in Kunshan combined with the local elements of gardens on the Yangtze Delta.

The design was inspired by the rise and fall of the Yipu Garden, a kind of Suzhou Garden, and the spatial twists and turns were interpreted in a modern way to form a symbolic courtyard gate, an immersive wonderland and a large-scale waterfall mirror. The design is a unique urban symbol for Kunshan.
