The Heritage Mansion, Changsha

Embracing nature and respecting nature, the site design uses low intervention and micro-intervention techniques to preserve the native Cuifeng Mountain to the greatest extent. Living and working in the mountain, enjoying the wild interest of nature, walking in the mountain, having no fear that floating clouds may blur our eyes, just sharing the beautiful scenery.
The project is located next to the South Suburb Park in Tianxin District of Changsha City, with urban green lung and excellent natural landscape resources. The design took inspiration from An Essay on Landscape Painting (Lin Quan Gao Zhi) to create a poetic scene of mountain residence with four artistic landscapes: forest and spring, misty clouds, mountain light and water color.
The difficulties of the project lied in how to reduce the damage to nature and achieve the ecological balance. Therefore, the method of "low intervention and micro intervention" was adopted to restore, borrow and return to nature. Relying on the continuation and transition of natural plants on the site, the water from the Xiangjiang River entered the site to form a secret forest wonderland surrounded by mountains and rivers. Intuitively feel the purest authenticity of the site, walk in the landscape, and quietly enjoy poetic dwelling.
