Evolved from a traditional Yuan 'an village into a modern settlement of Taohuawu, creating new spatial memories in a park full of peach blossoms. The "reconstructed settlement" interprets the spatial characteristics of traditional villages in Yuan 'an, echoes the needs of citizens for activities and recreation with "dynamic platform", and integrates the existing field atmosphere of Taohua Island with "habitat return". The land area is 9694.18㎡ and the construction area is 2903.31㎡
We limited the height of the building to two floors and scattered the volume to form an abstract and modern architectural combination with typical characteristics of traditional Yuan 'an settlements.
We created two platforms here, the first floor platform is a covered activity space combined with various venues, and the second floor platform can overlook Peach Blossom Island and Ju River, providing the masses with all-weather, multi-dimensional, dynamic space and dialogue with nature.
Sit and see mangroves do not know far, do not see people. The space entity of Taohuawu provides peach blossom Island rest place, visitor service center, wetland education center, water museum and other functions, and we hope that tourists can feel and return to nature here, watch the water rise and fall, and see the growth and habitat.
