Poly Dianchi Ziyouhai

The inverted trapezoidal dry-rail building is one of Yunnan's characteristic dwellings, modeled on the Yuhuang Pavilion, the former site of the National College of Arts, and reconstructed as a sculpture using modern art, condensing the crystallization of the nation's wisdom. Following the light, stepping into the art corridor, the clear lines present the original painting colors, stopping to appreciate and feel the deep emotion conveyed by each piece of artisanal work.



Straight lines and arcs are intertwined in the geometric space, where pure colors create a quiet atmosphere, echoing the story of the city. Inspired by light, the interior uses architectural techniques to open an "eye" in the top structure, shaped like the brim of an ancient Diane's hat, where natural light pours down through the blue sky, giving rise to a sense of sacredness and insight into the future and the past. The light from top to down gives people the psychological implication of "supremacy" and "transcendence" and the dislocated circles are imprinted with the unique design texture of the local ethnic groups.
