Perspective

The design team took into account the homeowner's strong desire for a predominantly black-themed space. While incorporating black elements into the space, they ingeniously employed an adept grasp of colors to break away from the established impression. By adding layers to the black theme, the space feels open rather than confined, achieving a balance between minimalism and personal taste. Through the use of various materials and techniques, they introduced warm tones and infused creative ideas into the spatial details; this approach created a refined and understated ambiance reminiscent of a theater, full of unique elegance.

By starting from the perspective of the homeowner's daily habits, the design team further simulated a design that seamlessly aligns with the homeowner's lifestyle, envisioning the entire space layout from the moment one wakes up. In this project, adopting the concept of a reception venue, the team ingeniously utilized the limited space by partially receding space from the living area while preserving a dedicated dining space. Including a kitchen island bar counter further connects these spaces, facilitating enjoyable social engagements. The strategic use of color additionally shapes a serene ambiance akin to a theater, enabling the homeowner to escape the hustle and bustle of urban life and find peace and tranquility in a comfortable environment.

The design team is fully committed to environmental sustainability, and incorporates materials that align with this ethos. Benjamin Moore paint, chosen for its eco-friendliness, enduring vibrancy, and easy maintenance, is a testament to this approach. Solid wood flooring, free from harmful formaldehyde, not only protects the health of occupants but also retains the original texture, smell, and feel of wood. Moreover, the commitment to sustainability extends to the entire space using eco-friendly green building materials and LED strip lights. This thoughtful choice not only safeguards the environment but also promotes energy efficiency, allowing the homeowner to enjoy a cozy living environment while identifying with the principles of environmental sustainability.
