The flight experience hall is Located on Quanlin Town in Enping City, Guangdong Province, the hometown of Feng Ru, father of Chinese aviation. In this context, the project is committed to building an aviation science popularization education base, as well as a cultural tourism and science and technology experience museum integrating the functions of science and technology exhibition, office and conference, recreation and entertainment, and visitor center.

The project features a mountainous site with a large elevation difference. The architects' initial idea is to land the most striking annular volume on the southern peak of the site to overlook the beautiful natural scenery of Qingnanjiao Reservoir, so as to highlight its landmark nature. A base is added under the disc, and the volume is hidden by the construction method of semi-earthing to reduce the impact on the natural environment. Finally, the building emerges with a unique shape that is light and vibrant, like a spaceship.

The design tries to use symbolic architectural language to establish a connection with resources, environment, flight culture and historical roots. In terms of facade design, all floors of the building adopt glass curtain structure, so that every corner can enjoy the waterscape. The eaves use silver gray aluminum plates, and take into consideration the proportion of the form and structure. The landscape design organically integrates with the mountain, and the sense of floating, science and technology and future arise spontaneously between the soft form and the environment to highlight the yearning for aerospace industry.

The ground floor and mezzanine are for reception, business meetings and social events, and the two floors are connected by a curved landscape staircase. The second floor is a large space for aerospace exhibition and experience, which is equipped with simulation flight classroom, Boeing 737 simulator experience module, aircraft carrier formation exhibition hall, etc. Visitors can take a helicopter to the parking apron on top of the mountain from Najin Valley opposite the reservoir, or drive to the foot of the mountain and take the vertical sightseeing elevator and aerial corridor to begin the journey of visit and experience.
